About

Welcome. My name is Daniel Di Pietro. I am a Melbourne-based sexologist with a Bachelor of Psychological Studies, a Masters in Sexology and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have several certifications in sex therapy; including how to treat mismatched sexual desire between partnerships and navigating issues of sexuality and sexual difficulties. I also have a keen interest in male sexual health, behaviour, pleasure and function.

To obtain my Masters in Sexology, my research explored the lived experiences of young (18 - 39 years of age) heterosexual men living with erectile difficulties, the first research of its kind conducted within Australia. I was also very proud and privileged to be asked to present my research to the Society of Australian Sexologists' Queensland branch in early 2021 in front of other members in the sexological field.

I am a current member of the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Australian Institute of Emotion-Focused Therapy (AIEFT).

I am LGBTQIA+ and culture friendly and work collaboratively with my clients, utilising a humanistic and holistic perspective with various psychosexual and sexual issues that people of all ages may have within their lives.
